Risk and Resilience Analysis
The Risk and Resilience Analysis was created by environmental health, building safety, architecture, and city planning professionals with nearly 90 years of combined experience in response to the following safety issues that have been increasing throughout the country:
Such realities are enough for many to wonder if their properties are designed for, and located, where they are doing all they can to protect their families and their guests.
The Risk and Resilience Analysis provides information to answer two questions that must be asked by homeowners and homebuyers in the 21st century: "How vulnerable is the property and surrounding area to acts of terrorism, natural hazards, and crime?" and "If a natural or man-made disaster happens nearby, could we shelter-in-place for an extended period of time?"
The Risk and Resilience Analysis is not a traditional home inspection. It involves a much broader scope using established guidelines from the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA to assess the potential risks on one's property, and determine the ability to "ride it out" until the threat is removed, utilities and infrastructure are restored, and/or help has arrived. The Risk and Resilience Analysis provides what a homebuyer needs in order to make an informed decision: targeted information.
- The number of terrorism acts being carried out by single "lone wolf" assailants on everyday targets
- The intensity of floods, brush fires, snowstorms, hurricanes, tornadoes, and other natural hazards
- The violent crime rate, and the number of registered sex offenders
Such realities are enough for many to wonder if their properties are designed for, and located, where they are doing all they can to protect their families and their guests.
